+/- .25" on each measurement due to manufacturing process
19” does not include fittings x 9” x 14”
Average tank thickness
Average tank thickness: .219 or 7/32" thick (just under 1/4")
All Class A Customs Water Tanks are one-piece seamless construction.
Rotatable
You can rotate the tank on any side, fitting placement will vary by tank, please be sure to view the tank photos provided.
*If you have fittings sitting on the floor you must recess or remove the floor for the fittings to sit in and piping/hoses to clear.

Installed Fittings See Photos
Two) 1.5" Female NPT Fitting - fitting is sealed to use remove membrane with razor knife
Two) .5" Female NPT Fitting - fitting is open
The fittings are not glued into the tanks, you will see residue from the installation process, this is where the tank and fitting melted together. Over time this will flake or crack, this in no way damages the tank or causes useage issues.
To add or repair fittings we sell Uniseal fittings, we do not sell spin weld fittings (fitting that are built into the tank).
We do not take orders for custom fitting placements or custom fitting sizes unless bulk ordering, 100 or more of each tank per order.
Can I get this tank with no fittings installed?
Yes, Class A Customs calls these Blank Tanks.
You will need to verify the lead time on Blank Tanks as we spin the fittings into our tanks as soon as they are made.
If we are currently making a tank we can get you a Blank Tank very quickly, shipping the next business day, however, if we are not currently making a tank it can take up-to several weeks to get a tank.
You can use the Contact Us Form to ask about lead times on the Blank Tanks.
When ordering a Blank Tank place the tank(s) you are needing in your cart and at check-out in the Customer Comments specify what tanks are to be Blank:
EXAMPLE:
Part # is a BLANK TANK
All Tanks Are BLANK

Manufacturing Vent Patch
Each tank will come with at least one permanently mounted patch, it is from the manufacturing process, this is not a fitting and does not unscrew and is water tight.

Non-Pressurized Tank
All tanks we carry must be vented, we carry Water Fill Dishes that allow you to fill the tank with fresh water and have a built-in vent (this is not used on a Gray Tank - Fresh Tank Only)
Bracing and Securing
Tank must be braced and supported, secure tanks to prevent movement.
Due to the variety of installations we do not carry brackets or bracing systems for our fresh/gray tanks

Sanatize Tank Before Use
Sanitize each tank prior to use to remove any debris from the manufacturing process. When tanks are manufactured they do not have the holes for the fittings so holes are drilled and fittings installed, the tanks will have shavings from drilling the holes. We do not flush the tanks due to wanting tanks to be completely new and unused.
Tanks are made in a warehouse so maybe dusty or scuffed, this does not effect the use or safety of the tank, wipe with a damp cloth to remove surface dust or scuffs.
Freshly made tanks may smell like plastic or a candle, but it will disappear over time with exposure to air and water.
If you have a strange taste in your water supply be sure you have used all food safe fittings and sealants or pipe tape, the tank will not give any taste to the water supply.

Water Temperature Tolerance
The temperature used during testing is 60 +/- 2°C (140 +/- 4 °F) and appears in NSF Listings Page as "D. Hot". This is intended to apply to product applications where the product is used for either cold (ambient temperatures) or hot water up to domestic hot temperatures.
You can not put boiling water into the tank, boiling water is 212 °F (100 °C)

The side of the tank is dented / bulged / bowed.
All tanks must be braced and secured to prevent any movement of the tank while in transit and to prevent possibility of tank tipping or falling.
Due to the manufacturing process all the tanks, especially the larger in size, will have a bowing to the walls, when the tank is filled the tank will expand out removing the inward bow, we recommend laying all tanks on a level surface (this can be angled to help with drainage) and bracing the tanks.
For larger tanks it is recommended to brace all side walls with plywood or metal, we do not recommend using ratchet straps on the tanks alone as this is a large amount of weight on a thin strip and may cause cutting into the tank.
For tanks placed outside it is also recommend to enclose tanks using sheet metal / plywood or some other type of weather proof material to prevent damage from road debris and speed bumps, be sure to check your clearance before ordering.

Can you make me a Custom Water Tank?
Class A Customs can make a custom tank, however, this might be too expensive for most customers needing just one item, we recommend viewing all the tanks located on our Water Tank List to see if one of the tanks will fit your need.
The following is typical of making a new style tank.
You would need to prepay to have a mold made this ranges from $9,000 and up, lead time can be 8 weeks or more.
You would need to place a prepaid PO of a qty of tanks per month/per year, your sales associate would confirm this number, before the mold would be made.
You can use the Contact Us Form to provide the needed information on making a custom water tank.
